The House of Prouds Gallery is situated on Norfolk Island, 1600 kilometers northeast of Sydney, Australia. The island enjoys a very pleasant subtropical climate, with an average of 7 hours of sunshine a day. Winters are mild and summers equally so. Captain James Cook, when he first discovered Norfolk Island in 1774, was so deeply moved that he described it in his journal as "paradise". Today Norfolk Island is surely one of the most beautiful places on earth. A glistening emerald set in the turquoise blue waters of the South Pacific Ocean.

The traders of Norfolk Island have created a shopping paradise that is better than duty free. The shops, making full use of the local tax system, can offer an unbelievable range of merchandise, at prices that can be more than 60% below those of retail Australian mainland prices.

The House of Prouds Gallery is one of the largest emporiums on the island.  Importers of prestige products with an extensive range of goods from highly collectable china, figurines and crystal to jewellery, Parker pens and refills, souvenirs, T-shirts, sloppy joes, casual/resort clothing, watches and Magnetic Health products.

Percival Imports, trading as The House of Prouds Gallery, has been in business on Norfolk Island for over 30 yers.  The business has developed over that period of time and now deals with a large range of products which range in price from .40c to $3,000.

A new building was constructed in Taylors Road in 1994 which allowed the upgrading of all facilities in keeping with the village feel of the island's business district.
